ARCSys Technologies wants every visitor, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to read, navigate and use this website. This statement sets out the standard we work to, what the site does today, what still falls short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
WCAG 2.1 LEVEL AA · LAST REVIEWED OCTOBER 2026
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across this website. New pages and changes are checked against that standard before they go live, and we fix issues as we find them or as they are reported to us.
This statement covers this website. The ARCSys products and the Learning Portal are separate applications. If you have an accessibility question about them, contact us and we will route it to the right team.
Keyboard navigation. Every link, button, menu and the film player can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and focus follows the reading order. The menu button on phones and tablets tells assistive technology whether the menu is open.
Reduced motion. When your operating system or browser asks for reduced motion, the site turns off its decorative animation: the light beams in the footer, the sheen on cards, and the moving highlight in step-by-step panels. The film preview plays silently and only while it is on screen.
Sound. Nothing plays sound automatically. The film’s audio starts only when you choose to play it, and the player can be closed with a button.
Contrast. Text colors were chosen against the navy and white backgrounds to meet the AA contrast ratio, and new color pairs are checked before they are used.
Structure. Pages use headings in a logical order, header and footer landmarks, and lists where the content is a list, so screen-reader users can move through them.
Text and zoom. Text is real text rather than images, and pages are built to reflow at browser zoom and on phone widths without horizontal scrolling.
Images. Meaningful images have text alternatives. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers, and the product mockups are labeled as illustrative examples and explained in the surrounding text.
Captions. The film is narrated. Captions and a transcript are planned and will be added to the player. Until then, the ideas the film covers are written out on the Why ARCSys page.
We know about the following gaps. If one of them affects you, tell us and we will help you complete what you came to do another way.
Captions. The 2:58 film does not yet have captions or a transcript. They are in production.
PDF whitepapers and downloads. Some whitepapers and guides are offered as PDF files that were not produced to accessibility standards. The ASU 2025-08 whitepaper is also published as a web page. If you need any document in an accessible format, email us and we will provide one.
Form labels. A few form fields use placeholder text in place of a visible label. We are adding labels.
Skip link and page language. There is no “skip to content” link yet, and the page language is not declared in the page code, so some screen readers may choose the wrong voice. Both are on our list.
Illustrative mockups. The product mockups and small charts are illustrations. Their fine print is small, and some labels sit below the AA contrast ratio. The figures they show are repeated or explained in the surrounding text.
JavaScript. Pages are rendered in the browser and need JavaScript turned on. With it off, the content does not display.
Third-party content. Our meeting scheduler runs on HubSpot, and we link to LinkedIn, X and YouTube. Those pages are run by other companies, and we cannot change how accessible they are.
We review pages by navigating with a keyboard only, at increased browser zoom, with reduced motion turned on, and with the accessibility tools built into current browsers. We have not yet commissioned an independent audit, and we will update this statement when we do.
The site is built for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and is designed to work with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS. Older browsers may not display every page correctly.
If something on this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, or you need content in a different format, tell us. It helps if you include:
The address of the page.
What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
The browser and any assistive technology you were using.
We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days and to fix or work around the problem as quickly as we can.
